Rio Rancho’s first Pride celebration is less than a month away — and organizers are keeping the momentum going with a second Drag Bingo fundraiser that they say has the June 6 event nearly fully funded.

Drag Bingo Round 2 returns to THE BLOCK, 7805 Enchanted Hills Blvd. NE, on Wednesday, May 13, from 7 to 9 p.m. The family-friendly event features live entertainment, live vocals and prizes. Proceeds benefit Sandoval County Pride 2026 and the Imperial Sovereign Court of New Mexico, a statewide drag performance organization that supports local charities.

The first Drag Bingo, held April 24, raised over $3,900. A $25 donation gets you in the door to play Round 2. Former Rio Rancho mayoral candidate and one of the Rio Rancho/Sandoval County Pride Festival OrganizersAlexandria Piland said fundraising is on track.

“We are approaching our goal for fundraising — we’re doing really well,” Piland said. “Pride is happening June 6 in Rio Rancho. Be there.”

The June 6 event at Haynes Park is designed to feel like Rio Rancho’s Juneteenth celebration — free, family-friendly, with food trucks, vendors and entertainment. Organizers are still seeking volunteers and community participants ahead of the event.
